If you enjoy having a London Fog, then you are probably going to enjoy this iced version just as much, if not more! This recipe only calls for a small handful of ingredients and is so easy to make! It pairs incredibly well with chai spiced snickerdoodle cookies and makes for a fabulous treat.
Similar to the homemade green tea frappuccino recipe that I shared with you previously, this is a homemade take on the iced earl grey latte that you can buy in local coffee shops. Making this yourself is far more cost-effective than going to any coffee shop, so simple, and hella delicious!
Serves 2
Ingredients
2 cups plant-based milk
1/2 cup of water
4 earl grey tea bags
2 - 3 tablespoons of Maple syrup
2 cups of Ice
Directions
Add milk and water into a small pot and place it on the stove at medium-low heat and allow the mixture to heat through. Once you see the milk starting to bubble around the edges of the pot, remove the pot from the heat.
Add your tea bags to the milk and allow it to steep for 10 minutes.
Press your tea bags to drain the excess fluid, but to release some of the tea as well.
Place the milk into the fridge to cool for 30 minutes - 2 hours (dependent on how much time you have)
In a blender container, add the early grey milk and remainder of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serve and enjoy!
