Homemade Green Tea Frappuccino

With the hot summer months, many people are looking for ways to cool down and escape the heat, often hitting up local coffee shops for an iced beverage of sorts. However, that can be a pricy endeavour, especially if you are buying iced drinks frequently. So skip the Starbucks line, save your wallet, and make your own with healthful ingredients!

I am a sucker for a green tea frappuccino, but not necessarily the biggest fan of all the unnecessary stuff that's added to specialty drinks. So why not make it yourself!? This recipe is refreshing, delicious, incredibly easy to make, and reminiscent of the classic green tea frappuccino that you can find at your local Starbucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plant-based milk

  • 1/2 cup of water

  • 2 tsp matcha powder

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups of ice

Directions

Add all ingredients into your blender and process until smooth.

Serve and enjoy!
