Cookies and Cream Recovery Smoothie

Trust, if you love sweet, decadent, chocolaty realness, this will leave you head over heels for this smoothie. This shake is intended as a recovery smoothie after a long strenuous workout (more than 60 minutes) but can easily be split into two servings if you are feeling generous.

This recovery smoothie is nutrient-dense, loaded in protein, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B12), minerals (calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium), and omegas, with a healthy range of carbs, fat, and protein. I honestly couldn't recommend this smoothie enough, as it's like having dessert after an exhaustive workout session and is well earned.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plant-based milk

  • 1 scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder

  • 1 Medjool date

  • 1 tablespoon wow butter (nut-free) or peanut butter

  • 2 tablespoons hemp hearts

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

  • 1 - 2 cups ice

Directions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.
